A FORMER Redditch Standard sales representative is releasing a new single ‘Venus’ which is now available to pre-buy and download.
Shelle, who decided to live her dream and record her music during lockdown, is hoping to get as many pre-sales as possible in the next week in a bid to get her song into the UK charts.
And she has been working with an experienced producer who has also worked with Take That and Celine Dion.
She has already been promoting her new song on BBC Radio 2 and 6 music stations, along with BBC Introducing and Hereford and Worcestershire.
On Thursday, she headed down to Redditch United to meet members of the first team who were keen to hear the song and give her their backing.
Shelle said: “The team were so supportive – they loved the song and the players said they would be dowloading it.
“I truly believe that this song is one of my best yet.
“I hope you do too and I’d love you to join me on my journey over the next two weeks as we aim to squeeze in amongst the big players in the music industry.”
Shelle will also be at HMV in Redditch’s Kingfisher Centre on Saturday at 2pm performing an acoustic set, including Venus and some of her other songs.
