FOUR men attempted to steal a cash point at a shop in Wythall.
In the early hours of this morning the men broke into the front of the shop Select and Save on Lea Green Lane.
They attempted to steal the ATM by attaching tow ropes to a vehicle and dragging it out of the shop.
Before the suspects could load the ATM onto the vehicle they made off on officers arrival.
