Free Easter fun for youngsters at Redditch Library this holiday

WITH Easter fast approaching anyone on the hunt for fun things to do with the family need look no further than Redditch Library with some cracking free seasonal activities for the young and young at heart.

Hannah Perrott, assistant director for communities at Worcestershire County Council said: “Our libraries are the perfect spaces for families to spend quality time together and connect with others in their community.

“They are a great place to discover and explore through reading, acquire new skills, get creative and have fun, no matter what age you are.

“Library staff have worked hard in the run-up to Easter to put together lots of spring-themed activities designed to entertain, educate and inspire, and don’t forget most of these sessions are completely free.




“Simply head down to your local library where you’ll find plenty to keep the whole family occupied, whatever the weather throws at us this Easter!”

The fun begins on Monday April 11 to Wednesday, April 11 with a free Easter Egg Challenge in collaboration with ‘Starting Well’, the wellbeing self-help reading scheme, and there’s a chocolate egg for everyone who takes part.


Then on Saturday, April 16 Redditch Library is putting on a Cinemaniacs Club Easter Special screening the movie HOP!

This is a free event with popcorn and refreshments available for just £1 per child.
