AN exhibition telling the stories of Warwickshire people during the First World War is now available to borrow by county community groups.

Volunteers from Heritage and Culture Warwickshire (HCW)’s Warwickshire at War project have curated a travelling exhibition that tells the stories of local people in the First World War.

The topics cover agriculture, commemoration, women, the Home Front, recruitment, the Red Cross, life at the front and refugees.

The material comes from the collections at Warwickshire County Record Office and the exhibition is available for community groups to borrow to support their own

commemoration activities.

Speakers from the Warwickshire at War project can also be booked and a database created which can be accessed here .

Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund the exhibition is free to borrow. For more information call Rowan Fisher on 01926 736397 or email [email protected].
