FRENCH students celebrated their World Cup win with residents in Redditch on Monday 16 July.
Every year the Oasis Christian Centre organises a trip for around 30 students to come and stay in Redditch for two weeks.
The students, aged between 14 and 17, are kindly taken in by families in the local area for the duration of their stay.
They receive lessons during the day and are stimulated in the afternoons with a range of activities which are set up by the centre.
Programme organiser Céline Dommart said: “It was wonderful to see the students celebrating their World Cup victory in the streets of Redditch.
“As they were waving their flags around, passers-by responded with good humour by beeping their car horns and joining in with the celebration.
“After all the bad press England fans have had, it was great to see locals congratulating the students.”
