VISITORS are in for a treat next weekend as Forge Mill Museum joins forces with the Palace Youth Theatre to put on not one, but two, spooktacular events.
On Friday (October 28) there’s an event designed just for children or one for over 15s.
The first event will run from 5.30pm to 7pm on both days and is designed for eight to 14 year olds with Hallowe’en games, pumpkin carving and lots of other spooktacular activities. Children can attend in fancy dress and there will be a prize for the best costume. Younger children are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult.
Following this, the second event will run from 8.30pm to 10pm on both days and is for ages 15 and over.
Visitors can take a walk around the haunted museum after hours whilst the Palace Youth Theatre relive ghostly tales and provide a few scares along the way. Make sure to take friends – you won’t want to go in alone!
Councillor Pat Witherspoon, whose portfolio covers leisure and cultural services, said: “Next weekend looks set to be full of fun, thrills and fancy dress at Forge Mill – no matter what your age! These events really do cater for anyone wanting to enjoy some Halloween entertainment so book your tickets quick to make sure you can attend.”
Both events cost £5 per person and booking in advance is essential.
