THERE was plenty of summer fun for all the family at Beoley Church Fête on Saturday.
The sunshine added to the joyous atmosphere at St Leonard’s Church where crowds of visitors enjoyed the wide variety of attractions.
There was music from local singer Stephen Cesari, country dancing from local schools, a raffle, barbecue, bouncy castle, as well as stalls and games including a coconut shy.
The money raised will go towards the care and maintenance of the Grade 1 listed church.
Reverend Paul Irving said: “The weather was on our side and we had lots of people supporting us including the three local first schools, Abbeywood, Moons Moat and Beoley, along with Moons Moat Conservation Group and Redditch Local History Group.
“It was lovely to see so many people visiting the church, everyone had a great time and we are already starting to look forward to our Christmas Fayre.”
