A FUND-RAISING event will be held on December 16 for a 23-year-old man who was diagnosed with the same dementia gene that killed his mother.
Astwood Bank resident Jordan Adams decided to get checked out with his sister Kennedy following their mum’s early death from frontotemporal dementia in 2016.
After three gruelling months of consultations and blood tests he was told on September 12 that he would suffer the same fate.
The event will be held at the Rocklands Social Club in Redditch.
Main attractions include a Santa’s Grotto and Christmas stalls which will be selling food, crafts and alcohol. There will be live music and a raffle.
