THE funeral of beloved Rev Canon David Christopher Salt will take place at St Michael’s Church in Aldbourne on Thursday, June 16.
David was the Vicar of St Stephen’s Redditch between 1982 and 2002 and was a well known and hugely popular person in the town.
The service will begin at 1pm, with anyone wishing to pay their last respects welcome to attend.
There will be light refreshments following the service at the memorial hall.
David sadly passed away in Wiltshire on May 19.
St Stephen’s will be remembering David with a memorial service at the church on Thursday, July 7 from 2pm.
