ITS game on for this year’s Studley Wheelbarrow race .
Raising money for Studley in Bloom and Studley Christmas Lights, the fun starts from The Bell on Alcester Road from 12.30pm on Sunday, August 27.
The event takes competitors around all the pubs in the village where they’ll be expected to down a drink before staggering on back to The Bell.
Minimum entry is £20 per wheelbarrow and there are cash prizes of £100 for the faster male, female and mixed barrows, plus additional non-cash prizes for best fancy dress and decorated barrow.
