STUDLEY has been hit by a spate of anti-social behaviour, all occurring in the High Street area or just off.
In the first incident at around 1.50am on Sunday, (April 2), a group of youths, described as seven boys and four girls, removed a ‘for sale’ sign from the garden of a house and started beating cars and flowerbeds with it.
The same evening but ten minutes later, youths were spotted by the old youth centre causing a nuisance and messing about with wheelie bins.
An hour or so earlier a group of about 15 teenagers were reported causing a nuisance in the street, smashing bottles and being abusive to a passerby.
Still on the High Street, a car had its wing mirror kicked and eggs thrown across the bonnet over the night of Friday (March 31) and Saturday (April 1).
Earlier on the Friday evening, at about 10.50pm, youths were spotted on the roof of the old medical centre in the High Street. They pulled down a sign and dragged it across to the play area where they have continued to damage it.
Meanwhile in Marble Alley, just off High Street, at 10.25pm on Sunday (March 26) a group of youths were seen drinking alcohol in the street and tipping bins over. They were also reportedly trying to damage a fence around the shops.
