PUPILS from Studley High School welcomed elderly visitors from the village with open arms on Tuesday (December 1).
The event, which was organised by year 11 prefects and children in year seven’s art group, saw 17 Studley residents enjoy afternoon tea with the pupils – produced by the school’s year ten GCSE catering group.
The visitors enjoyed a wide selection of cakes and sandwiches washed down with tea and coffee.
During the meal, the lower school choir sang a selection of songs and carols that evoked memories of a bygone era.
