GENEROUS families at Crown Meadow First School organised an incredible food-drive this month.
The Alvechurch school donated food, sanitary products, shopping bags, pet food and more to New Starts’ food bank in Bromsgrove.
A school spokesperson said: “The gift of giving will ripple through into the new year.
“It’s great to see our children helping others through their school values.
“We did an additional one-day donation to make sure they were doing all they could for families in need at Christmas.
“And on the same day, our pupils wore their Christmas jumpers and raised £295.00 for St Mary’s Hospice in Selly Oak.”
Year 4 children have also made Christmas cards for the residents of BDHT.
