YOUNGSTERS at a Redditch school decided to give something back at Christmastime – their charity growing with each day of advent.
The children of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic First School embraced the true spirit of the season and throughout December, in exchange for the chocolate they received from their class advent calendar, donated items for a food hamper.
Each class hamper was then delivered to those in need through Mount Carmel Church’s ‘St. Vincent de Paul’ group, who work alongside the local community.
