THE COUPLE behind website Ghosts of Redditch will be hosting an evening of paranormal activity at Abbeydale Club this October 31.

Organisers Clem and Sam Dallaway, who are on a mission to document Redditch’s most spooky ghost stories, will be premiering their feature-length documentary on the town’s most haunted locations.

A few weeks ago the pair filmed inside the Standard’s HQ on Church Green, Webb House, after hearing reports of an angry old lady wearing Victorian clothes who wanders the halls.

The footage they captured will be shown at the Halloween event but a teaser version can already be seen on our YouTube channel – here.

According to The Redditch Indicator newspaper, published on July 1887, William Webb, the baker at what is now Webb House, shot himself.

A double-barrelled gun was found close to his body and his death was described as ‘instantaneous’.

Clem said: “We will also have international psychic medium and author Janet O’Carroll attending.”

Doors open at 7.30pm and the event is expected to finish at 11pm.

Tickets are available to buy from Abbeydale Club and cost £15, which includes supper.
