REDDITCH’S MP proved she was a heavyweight supporter of Redditch Community Amateur Boxing Club by visiting to donate funds.
Karen Lumley found out more about the work done in the community by the organisation and also presented them with a small donation from the excess proceeds of her recent Parliamentary tours.
She said: “It was great to get the chance to visit the boxing club and to be able to present them with a donation from my constituents. I have been overwhelmed by the demand for my Parliamentary tours, each one has been a sell-out and our waiting list is growing every week. The fact we are able to use excess funds to benefit local community groups is fantastic.”
