A WETHERSPOON in Redditch town centre will be hosting a gin festival between 17 and 27 August.
The Rising Sun on Alcester Street will add 18 new gins to its already large collection.
Manager Joe Mullen, who took over the pub on May 14, said: “There will be something for all gin lovers to enjoy.
“I think the Sharish Blue Magic Gin will prove to be very popular because it’s rare and hard to get hold of.”
A tasting leaflet will be provided by The Rising Sun so that drinkers can keep tabs on what gin they have tried and which ones they haven’t.
They will also be able to mark off each gin as either ‘not my cup of tea’, ‘good’ or ‘exceptional’ based on taste and appearance.
Leaflets with more information about the event can be collected from inside the pub.
