GLASTONBEOLEY charity music festival gets under way at 4pm today (Friday, June 27), writes Lola Griffin.
The annual two-day event at Redditch Cricket, Hockey, Rugby and Squash Club, also runs from 12pm tomorrow (Saturday).
All profits from the community festival go directly to charities and groups which have had a positive impact on people’s lives in the local community.
Within the two days there will be more than 40 live music acts over three stages, along with signed BSL performances for all to enjoy.
There will also be children’s rides, street food, beer tents, and a Prosecco and gin trailer.
Since 2018, GlastonBeoley has raised more than £5,000 for charities such as Deaflblind UK, Redditch NightStop and The Mental Health Foundation.
The organisers are hoping to raise as much as possible this year.
On-site parking will be available over the two days at the Redditch Cricket, Hockey, Rugby and Squash Club.
Children under 16 are able to enter for free with paying adults, providing opportunities for families to attend together.
