MORE than 50 acts are lined up to take to the stage in this year’s GlastonBeoley Festival at Redditch Cricket, Hockey, Rugby and Squash Club.
To be held over the weekend of June 30 and July 1 the event is a major fund-raiser for Redditch charities.
The festival aims for a family-friendly feel, with lots of children’s entertainment, street food, a prosecco and gin bar and beer tent – plus craft stalls for gifts and festival clothing.
Debbie Joynes, the brainchild behind the original GlastonBeoley in 2018, said: “We couldn’t be more delighted to be in such a central Redditch location for 2023.
“With access to buses, taxis and trains – as well as ample parking – everything is in place for what we expect to be a record-breaking event.
“But none of this would be possible without the help of our festival sponsors Zoo Accounting, Bromsgrove District Council Commercial Waste – and the support of the club and the committee who have made us very welcome from the outset.”
Brian Carr, chairman of Redditch Cricket, Hockey, Rugby and Squash Club, added: “We are excited to be supporting GlastonBeoley with what promises to be a great event for us all.
“Our aim over the next few years is to strengthen our community links even further – and this ticks all our boxes.”
Tickets are now on sale online via Glastonbeoley.co.uk – with children under 16 gaining FREE entry with an accompanying adult.
The next fund-raising event for the festival will be next Friday, March 24, when ‘GlastonBeoley Presents’ local band Take Cover, supported by Dos Villanos at The Rocklands.
Tickets are £5 and all proceeds will help towards staging GlastonBeoley 2023.
