KNIGHTS Pharmacy on Palmers Road on Moons Moat are taking part in the NHS ‘Grab a Jab’ initiative this weekend.
They are offering the Pfizer vaccination to combat Covid-19 for people having their first jab.
Redditch Borough Council says to book your appointment, call 01527 502355 between 9am and 3pm today, Friday, June 25, to secure your weekend slot.
These are extra appointments for this weekend only – outside these times you should call the NHS on 119.
Please make sure you take photo ID to prove your age.
The jabs ar available for anyone over the age of 18 to get their first Covid-19 vaccination.
Also taking part in the initiative are the Worcester Guild Hall, this Friday, June 25 and Sunday, June 27, and the Artrix in Bromsgrove on Saturday, June 26.
Artrix will be open from 2pm to 6pm and the Guildhall from 10am to 4pm on both days.
Dr Kathryn Cobain, director of public health for Worcestershire said: “Across Worcestershire, our vaccine programme has been really successful, the numbers of people taking up the offer of a vaccine have been positive.
“We are so grateful to everyone who has come forward so far across the county.
“This should make it easier for our younger residents to get their first vaccine, as they can just drop by and be seen.
“Clinics like these make it much easier and more convenient for people come forward and to get vaccinated.
“Vaccination is so important, not only as it protects the person receiving the vaccine but it also helps to protect their loved ones and local residents.”
You don’t need to be registered with a GP to access the vaccination.
