A ROAD in Greenlands which is much-used on the school run has been resurfaced, just in time for the staff and pupils starting back in September.
Worcestershire County Councillor Emma Marshall took action on the Studley Road, near the post office, which she said had been plagued with potholes for years.
She added: “I’ve been working on getting this stretch of road resurfaced for some time.
“Due to how many schools are reliant on the road the resurfacing works had to be done during the summer holidays.
“I know this is something residents have wanted for some time so I’m glad to have helped make it a reality.”
This year Worcestershire County Council has invested more into roads and pavements across the county and, Coun Marshall said, Redditch councillors were making the most of it.
