FREELANCE researcher Vanessa Morgan will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of Studley Local History Group.
Vanessa specialises in family history and has been a genealogist for 25 years, developing her talks from items she has stumbled across while doing her research. She has written numerous articles for family history magazines and also published books on research and 19th century true crime, covering murders which took place in Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
Her talk in Studley will take the audience on a journey into the lives of various members of the Throckmorton family of Coughton Court, through diaries and newspaper articles in their original form.
The meeting will be on Tuesday, June 18 in The Parish Centre, The Foredraught, Studley B80 7LJ, starting at 8.15pm.
