Guitars chiming like bells - Euan's new song is set to soar high

ALCESTER singer / songwriter Euan Blackman is set to release his new single ‘HighHighHigh’ on Friday, October 8.

It is his third single from his forthcoming debut EP ‘Grateful For The Moments Spent Alone’, following ‘24 Hours 7 Days’ and ‘Sinking’.

The song was the first one written for the EP and was self-produced by Euan over lockdown.

The track was played to Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park and Jack Saunders, the (Radio 1 DJ during a feedback stream on Twitch.

Mike said: “I’m impressed, the songwriting is great, period,” while Jack also gave the song a thumbs up.

Euan’s previous releases achieved success, supported by several BBC Introducing shows, Amazing Radio UK and USA, and playlisted on hundreds of independent Spotify playlists.

A product of the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, Euan helped keep his road entertained during lockdown by playing impromptu gigs for neighbours to enjoy.

He’s also backed his brother Jack Blackman, the founder of Alcester’s Tuery Nights at the Cross Keys in Alcester.

We gave HighHighHigh a listen too and found guitars that sounded like bells chiming over a light foot tapping beat and loved it too.

HighHighHigh is released on all the usual streaming platforms on October 8.
