SUPER swimmer Hailey Best is aiming to make a splash for charity when she takes part in a sponsored swim in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The six-year-old was inspired to take the plunge by the bravery of a young friend who has been receiving treatment there since the end of February.
She aims to swim lengths continuously for one hour at a local pool during the Easter holidays with the aim of completing 80 breathtaking lengths.
So far she has managed to raise £526 and her just-giving page has now now gone global with sponsors signing up from as far afield as Australia and Dubai.
