THERE will be plenty of free family-friendly fun in Bromsgrove and Redditch when the towns’ Haunted Halloween Light Trails take place.
Visitors to Morton Stanley Park in Redditch from 4pm to 9pm next Friday, October 31, will be able to explore themed Halloween zones including The Forbidden Attic and Captain Graves.
The light trail itself includes magical illuminated paths, sparkling trees, and eerie ghostly projections that light up the night.
Parking for Blue Badge holders is available in the Morton Stanley car park and alternate parking, for those who do are not entitled to disability parking is available at Walkwood C of E Middle School but both are very limited so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
The Bromsgrove Halloween trail takes place from 4pm to 9pm tomorrow (Saturday, October 25) in Sanders Park.
There will be an eerie atmosphere full of illuminations, projections and pumpkins galore, along with Halloween zones, including The Witches’ Lair or Creepy Carnival.
Kidderminster Road offers parking for Blue Badge holders only, so alternative parking, public transport or travelling on foot is suggested for visitors.
The number of zones this year in both the Bromsgrove and Redditch events have increased from four to nine, with meet and greet roaming characters throughout.
Residents are urged to put on their most gruesome costumes to help spread the Halloween fun in the numerous interactive opportunities.
The Trick or Treat Street Food Court at both events will offer various refreshments and the fabulous funfair can be enjoyed by any little monsters.
And Dragonfly Arts will provide interactive craft workshops like pumpkin carving for guests to get involved with.
Redditch Borough Council’s portfolio holder for leisure, Coun Juliet Barker Smith, said: “This is another brilliant free event right in the heart of our community that residents love.”
“It would be wonderful to see a big turn-out on the night, especially those who like a costume dress up.”
Bromsgrove District Council’s portfolio holder for leisure, Coun Bernard McEldowney, said: “This is yet another brilliant annual community event, that residents love and take part in year after year.”
