IT was a case of hands across the water when Redditch’s ‘ambassadors’ to the borough’s Tanzanian twin town of Mtwara returned bearing gifts for the Mayor Councillor Pattie Hill and chief executive Kevin Dicks.
David and Jackie Morgan had spent a fortnight in the East African country and the hand carved warrior and fishing dhow were symbols of friendship for the borough.
“The people out there are so friendly and warm, they made sure we had a wonderful time,” said Jackie.
