BIG-hearted Redditch Lions have been busy supporting the health trust’s Rory the Robot Appeal and at a recent Valentines Motown Evening they handed out bumper cheques to support the drive.
The event, at the Chateau Impney in Droitwich, saw cash donations of £1,756 each to the Rory the Robot Surgical Appeal and Prostate Cancer UK.
The money was raised from Redditch Lions’ Halloween Fun Run held last October. where over 150 willing participants raised a grand total of £3,512.
And the fund raising continues with the Lions scheduling another Halloween Fun Run/Walk for October 29, 2017 in Arrow Valley Park to raise further funds for these two charities.
