A STAR of both stage and screen was on hand for the official opening of the Where Next? shop and nursery at Spernall last weekend.
Where Next? is a local charity which offers quality services by supplying work experience and training for those with learning disabilities or the disadvantaged.
Renowned local actor, David Bradley, who has played the nasty caretaker Argus Filch in all of the Harry Potter films, did the honours of cutting the ribbon to officially open the centre.
He was also more than happy to pose for pictures and sign copies of books and photographs.
The centre, at the junction of the A435 and A448 in Studley at Spernall, builds on the success of Where Next’s? headquarters in Easemore Road, Redditch, and is the product of a tremendous community effort to see the building brought right up to date with modern facilities and more.
Further support came from supermarket giants Asda in Redditch and Tesco in Stratford while at the opening, a tombola by itself raised more than £100.
