REDDITCH is set to welcome back its annual ‘Apple Day’ organised by the volunteers at Headless Cross Community Orchard.
The event runs from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, October 5.
As well as apple juicing, there will be favourites such as the Human Fruit Machine, the Annual Cider Competition and the Apple Olympics including apple and spoon race, apple sack race and apple plopping.
There will also be live music from Revenge of The Wrinklies, Goblin Noises, Alan Sheward, Sofa and Lampshade.
Since 2009, volunteers have helped conserve the Headless Cross Community Orchard as a leisure place by planting Worcestershire fruit trees and two years later ‘Apple Day’ returned to bring the community together.
The orchard also encourages the community to give back by asking that any excess fruit and vegetables be donated to its Harvest Stall.
It promises to be a great day out for all ages.
Admission is free.
