POPULAR singer Stephen Cesari is to open the St Leonard’s Church fête in Beoley.
Stephen is sure to delight the audience with a number of songs from his current repertoire at the event on Saturday, July 1.
Three local schools, Beoley First, Moons Moat First and Abbeywood First will also be entertaining the crowds.
Further music will be provided throughout the afternoon by the Worcestershire Players.
The Reverend Paul Irving said: “This year’s fête is set to be better than ever, we will be having our usual mix of stalls ranging from tombola to the coconut shy, plant stall to White Elephant. We are also planning face painting and a bouncy castle, alongside a barbecue and cake sale.
“Inside the church visitors will have the chance to see the work of our stitchcraft group and find out more about the history of our church with a display from Redditch Local History Group.”
