REDDITCH residents are being offered help to get online with support from the Borough Council.
The authority is holding two events as part of national Get Online Week to show wanna-be surfers how to make the most of the internet.
Councillor Tom Baker Price, whose portfolio covers financial independence and support services, said: “More and more services are available online but it can seem quite daunting if you haven’t had much experience.
“We want to show people how easy it is to pay a bill online or get information about services and benefits, 24/7.”
National Get Online Week runs from October 15. On Wednesday, October 17 officers will be on hand at the Town Hall to help people tacklee the internet.
On Friday, October 19 they will be in the Kingfisher Centre. Both events run from 10am til 4pm.
