AN art exhibition is being staged in Alvechurch Village Hall, from July 21-23 showing paintings in the style of David Hockney.
Called ‘Homage to Hockney’, and produced at ‘Pam’s Art Classes’, the idea stemmed from Kamal Khan, owner of Grosvenor House nursing home in Aqueduct Lane, who challenged the artists to produce art in the style of Hockney.
Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid will, schedule permitting, judge the Hockney style paintings at the Grosvenor House Summer Fete in the afternoon of July 23.
The exhibition will be open from 10am til 6pm (10 til 5 on Saturday), with free entry and refreshments available.
