Homes rejected as Studley Parish says 'there's no space to park cars'

Redditch Editorial 17th Nov, 2019   0

‘NO space to park cars’ that was the message from Studley Parish Councillors as they rejected plans to build six new homes on the site of the Doric Works in Church Street, Studley.

Members heard that the spaces on the road outside the old engineering works were used for parking by residents in the houses opposite, and that no spaces were being provided for the new homes.

Generally new one or two bedroom new homes should have at least one parking space with a four beds having two.

The plans were rejected although the final decision will rest with Stratford District Council.
