THE heat is being turned up at Kingfisher Shopping Centre as it prepares to host its own Chilli and Chocolate event for shoppers.
The celebration, in partnership with Redditch Market operators Sketts is this weekend Saturday and Sunday (October 29-30).
The aim is to celebrate food and flavours from across the globe and will also showcase the centre’s own wide range of eateries.
Shoppers can expect to be taken on a journey of culinary discovery with a taste of spice from around the world.
From tasty sauces and preserves to curries and marinades there will be a selection of chilli inspired foods for everyone to explore, taste on the day or takeaway.
For those with a sweet tooth, there will also be a selection of chocolate inspired goodies, gifts and a chocolate fountain to enjoy.
Katie Broome from the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, said: “We’re excited to be hosting the Centre’s first Chilli and Chocolate event!
“There’s a real mixture of treats on offer from the stall holders we have on board and a little something for everyone to enjoy.
“We have more than 20 food retailers here at Kingfisher and we wanted to do something fun for shoppers that would help us to celebrate the diverse range of eateries we have in centre.
“We’re looking forward to our hottest event of the year and can’t wait to see you all there!”
As an extra treat, the centre’s customer service desk will also be handing out extra Dining Club Card stamps across the weekend to help shoppers get one step closer to the complete 10 stamp target.
Completed Dining Club Cards with 10 stamps can be taken to the customer service desk where they will be entered into a prize draw to win a year’s worth of dining at the centre.
The Chilli and Chocolate celebration, based in Worcester Square, will be open from 9am to 5.30pm on Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday.
The Dining Club Card is available to collect from the Customer Service Desk now.
