A VEHICLE workshop has been destroyed after a huge fire broke out near an industrial estate in Redditch.
Dozens of firefighters from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze near the Washford Industrial Estate in the early hours of this morning (July 9).
The fire, which broke out at a Land Rover restoration site on Bartlett Road, was causing considerable amounts of black smoke.
Residents were urged by firefighters to close their windows.
According to the fire service, no one was injured in the incident.
A nearby resident said: “I was up watching it in the early hours, it was very devastating.
“We called the police at 2.30am and the fire was still going at 5am this morning.”
