WE may be on the brink of Brexit but in Redditch an urgent appeal has gone out for families to play host to a group of French students next spring.
Local resident and French native Celine Dommart is organising an exchange trip and is looking for local people to give the youngsters and introduction to British life and traditions.
“It will only be during the week, from Monday to Friday, the children will be out on excursions all day and all the hosts needs to do is provide them with breakfast, pack lunch, evening meal and drop them off and pick them up at the Abbey Stadium,” said Celine.
“It would be suitable for working families or couples looking to earn some extra income.”
The students will be aged 13-16, there no need to speak French and the dates will be sometime in March, April and May.
