The hunt is on for lucky Redditch lottery winner

Redditch Editorial 15th Dec, 2015 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

TIME IS running out for one lucky Redditch resident who has just over a month left to claim a Lotto prize worth more than £63,000.

The search is on to find the owner of the £63,043 winning ticket, who matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on July 25.

With a little over four weeks left, National Lottery players are being urged to check and double-check their tickets one last time for the chance to claim this life-enhancing prize.

The winning numbers are 2, 4, 5, 15, 20, 48 with 37 as the bonus ball and the lucky ticket-holder only has until January 21, 2016 to make their claim.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Time really is running out but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing Lotto ticket could be hiding.”

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline, the prize money – plus all the interest it has generated – will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

In the Redditch Area alone 258 individual National Lottery grants have been awarded to help projects across the arts, sports, heritage, health, education, environment, charity and voluntary sectors.
