THE snowy weather is causing some disruption on the roads and rails for Redditch commuters today, with those travelling advised to allow more time than usual for their journeys.
Trains travelling to and from Redditch railway station are running, but with a reduced time table. While most trains out of Redditch are running on time, the poor weather conditions affecting London Northwestern Railway services.

Diamond Bus have also altered some it’s services, with many of local routes in Redditch cancelled.
These included the 47\48 Redditch Circular, 62 Matchborough East, 64 Greenlands and Woodrow North, 67 Studley and the 247 Evesham bus.
They are currently still running the 51 to Poplar Road shops only, 55 (avoiding Oakenshaw), 57\58 Full Route, 70 Redditch to Crabbs Cross Island, 146 Redditch to Birmingham, avoiding Alvechurch, 42 Kidderminster to Redditch direct from Bromsgrove to Redditch, and the 43 Bromsgrove to Redditch direct to Redditch.
A spokesperson said: “All Redditch Services please note that with the forecast suggesting that temperatures are set to plummet to minus 10 later this afternoon, all our services will be subject to suspension. Please keep checking the website for updates.”
Johnson’s Excelbus has cancelled or postponed most of it’s services for today, including the 150 between Redditch and Worcester. The bus company has released the following list detailing the services affected:
Service 1: All services cancelled today
Service 2: All services cancelled today
Service 3: Running between Stratford and Meon Vale Island only. Unable to serve Quinton and Meon Vale at present. This will be an hourly service, starting at Stratford at 9.35am.
Service 3A and 3W: All services cancelled today
Service 4 and Service 5: From 10.00 we will operate a special service from Banbury Road Island to the Maybird Centre. We are unable to serve Trinity Mead and Justins Avenue.
Service 42: All services cancelled today
Service 77: All services cancelled today
Service 77A: All services cancelled today
Service 87: All services cancelled today
Service 150: All services between Redditch & Worcester are cancelled today, Redditch to Birmingham will run a normal timetable starting with the 0907 service from Redditch and 0917 from Birmingham.
Service X7: All services cancelled today
Service X20: Service is operating full timetable but will not serve Blythe Valley Business Park.
Stratford Park & Ride: All services cancelled today.
