Inkberrow Bowls club on a roll with latest championships

KEY fixtures in the closing stages of the Worcestershire Under 25 lawn bowls championship are being hosted by Inkberrow Bowls Club.

Both semi-finals will be held at the club’s ground in Sands Road, Inkberrow, starting at 6.15pm on Monday June 16.

Alan Slater, Inkberrow Bowls Club President, said: “We are extremely pleased to be contributing to this important event.

“Events like this are vital in developing the next generation of players.

“Major work has been undertaken to bring our green into top condition. We look forward to further opportunities to host County events.”

The semi-finalists are Will Johnson of Chester Road Bowling Club, Kidderminster, who plays Harvey Griffiths of St Dunstan’s club, Worcester, and Alfie Griffiths of St Dunstan’s who meets Harry Boulton of Chester Road.




Inkberrow is currently top of the Vale league after beating the league leaders Pershore 10-0.
