GREEN-fingered members of Inkberrow Bowls Club have started work preparing the ground for the outdoor season.
The club is approaching its 30th anniversary, with celebrations due to start in May.
Considerable amounts of cash, time and effort have been spent on improving the green and maintaining it to the highest standard. The new season starts next month with the annual Open Day from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, May 10.
Club president Alan Slater said: “New members and visitors are always promised the warmest welcome.
“Playing bowls is healthy, and a gentle way to be active.
“There’s a great social life too.”
The club welcomes players of all ages and skills. Beginners thinking of trying bowls for the first time who are offered coaching, or experienced players seeking competitive league matches.
