INKBERROW Village Hall has received grant funding from Wychavon District Council and the Rural England Prosperity Fund to install solar panels along with loft insulation and cavity wall insulation.
These improvements will significantly reduce energy costs and carbon emissions, helping to secure the long-term sustainability of this well-used community centre while contributing positively to local environmental goals.
The project has been delivered through the hard work and commitment of the village hall committee led by Chair Melanie Hart.
The grant application was completed by David Ward of Little Bo Peep Nursery and valuable input from a dedicated team of volunteer committee members.
A spokesperson for the hall said: “This investment forms part of a wider programme of ongoing initiatives to improve Inkberrow Village Hall for the benefit of the whole community, ensuring it continues to provide an excellent venue for recreation, play, performances and events, with a strong stage and entertainment area at its heart.”
