AN IT failure is causing chaos throughout the county’s hospitals.
The issue is affecting patient systems and as a result people with minor injuries or ailments are being asked not to attend A&E at the Alexandra or Worcestershire Royal Hospitals but seek help from their GP or minor injuries unit, such as the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove.
A spokeswoman said: “We are liaising with West Midlands Ambulance Service and other partners to ensure patient safety is maintained.”
