LOVERS of original works of art, created by local artists, can look forward to the return of Arts in Redditch’s Pop-Up Gallery in the Kingfisher Centre this July.
Opening on Thursday, July 1, and running for 10 days, this pop-up gallery will feature 40 local artists who will be exhibiting more than 500 individual works of art, including paintings, ceramics, textile work, photography and other media.
All the work will be sale, and can be taken away on the day of purchase.
The exhibition, which is organised by the artists themselves, will be in Unit 24, Walford Walk, opposite Clinton’s Cards.
As a taster, the windows of this unit currently feature a display of work from some of the participating artists.
“We are really excited by the prospect of resuming our pop-up galleries, which we have run twice a year since 2014,” said Philip Roberts, a trustees of Arts in Redditch.
“As well as many of our regular exhibitors, we are delighted to welcome some new participants, who are looking forward to exhibiting with us for the first time.
“Once again, we are indebted to the management team and staff of the Kingfisher Centre, without whom these events would not be possible.”
