It's never too late to learn - new courses on offer for adults in Redditch

Redditch Editorial 1st Sep, 2017

REDDITCH residents looking to gain new skills, be creative or take up a hobby should check out the wide range of new adult learning courses being launched in local libraries from September.

The programme is made up of courses of varying lengths plus one day workshops, in a diverse range of subjects including modern languages, maths, health and safety, social media, sewingf and embroidery, CV writing and interview skills.

Colin Barnett, Adult Learning Manager for Worcestershire County Council added: “For many, the courses have provided new friendships and played a large role in helping people find employment. Evidence also suggests that learning can improve mental well-being.”

Adult learning course prospectuses will be available in libraries from early September.
