It's thirsty work, but someone's got to do it - Volunteers sought for Bromsgrove Beer Festival

VOLUNTEERS from the Redditch and Bromsgrove branch of the Campaign for Real Ale are getting the barrels organised for the Bromsgrove Beer and Cider Festival.

The towels come off on Thursday, June 29 giving visitors the chance to sample 144 different beers and more than 50 ciders and perries before the event closes at 9.30pm on Saturday, July 1.

The venue is Bromsgrove Rugby Club, Finstall, Bromsgrove, a short walk from the railway station and this festival charity is Parkinson’s UK. Admission is £10 which includes a programme, a £5 drinks voucher and a deposit for a commemorative glass.

Card-carrying CAMRA members receive £7 worth of vouchers.




The event will also host the West Midlands Region Beer of the Year Competition and entertainment on Saturday afternoon will include the Blackwell Concert Band. For more information visit http://bit.ly/2qWUrcb
