FORGE Mill Needle Museum is to host an evening of ‘Jazz and Gin’ with local band Jazz Alchemy to the cloisters in Bordesley Abbey.
It’s all happening this Saturday, June 26 from 7pm to 10.30pm and is what is hoped to be the first of many live music events at the site.
Tickets are just £9 which includes a first drink and for people’s safety strict Covid control measures will be place.
A spokesman for Rubicon Leisure, which manages the historic site, said: “We have worked hard to make the site safe for all of our visitors.
“Since we opened the grounds in April this year, we have introduced the new Mill View Coffee Bar serving a selection of coffees and homemade cakes as well as improving the play area and large sand pit.
“We have also cautiously opened the museum, controlling visitor numbers to the exhibits.
“The next step in our re-opening is to bring back events with our first being the Jazz and Gin evening.
“Due to the restrictions in place we have a limited amount of tickets available so it is advisable to book them early to avoid disappointment.”
