PROTECTING the Green Belt and maintaining separation from Redditch – those are the key findings from a public open day held last month on the proposed Studley Neighbourhood Plan.
Since then four working parties have been working hard to collate all of the information provided by almost 200 residents who attended the event.
A draft questionnaire will be discussed by the group in a couple of weeks which will then go to Stratford District Council for validation.
Once that has been approved and the document has been shown to Parish, District and County Councillors it will go out to residents and businesses, sometime in September.
“In addition to the Studley Neighbourhood Development Plan questionnaire we will also be sending out a Housing Needs Survey, so we can get a better understanding of the number of homes we need to provide for residents in the coming years,” said steering group chair Paul Beaman.
“What is obvious from the information already provided residents want to protect the green belt around the village and also to maintain the separation from Redditch.”
