RESIDENTS swapped treats for trainers when they took part in a special Valentine’s Day run.
Close to 270 runners raced around Arrow Valley Lake on Saturday (February 15) donning poms poms, face paints and lots of red.
Those completing the 5k course enjoyed special cakes and biscuits, as well as a packet of Love Heart sweets at the finish.
The day was one of the regular parkrun events which take place every Saturday at 9am at the lake off Battens Drive.
