THERE’S been a clean sweep for the Conservatives in the Warwickshire County Council elections in Alcester and Studley.
The Conservatives retained both Arden and Alcester while former district councillor Justin Kerridge from Sambourne defeated the incumbent Liberal Democrat Clive Rickhards in Studley.
Results as follows:
Alcester – Turnout 43.23 per cent
Piers Daniell (Conservative) – 1,642 – Elected

Arden – Turnout 40.82 per cent

Studley – Turnout 39.36 per cent
