Key thieves break into Redditch home and then steal VW Golf R32

POLICE are appealing for help after a house in Hill Meadow View in Astwood Bank was broken into on Friday afternoon, September 7.

The burglars stole car keys and then made off in a VW Golf R32 car, registration number VE65 WDX.

Witnesses reported seeing a blue coloured car parked on the driveway at about 2pm.

The following day in Gloucester Close, Abbey, thieves climbed into a garden then broke into a shed to steal a child’s motocross bike.

An eyewitness saw a group of youths pushing the bike down the road and they ran off and the bike was retrieved.

On Sunday afternoon, September 9, thieves stole a black Carrera Vengeance bicycle from the bike rack at the Asda supermarket in Jinnah Road.

The same day a Trek mountain bike was stolen from the back garden of a home in Chaddesley Close, Lodge Park.

Over that night CDs and a green GAP jacket were stolen from a car in Ashorne Close in Matchborough.

Earlier in the week two bicycles and a Bosch drill were stolen when thieves broke into a garage in Cleeve Close, Church Hill over the night of Wednesday, September 5.
